First trip to the beach

While my mom was here for her visit we took a small trip to the beach.  It was the first time in the almost 3 years that we've lived here that we've gone.  We went down to one of the bases private beaches which is actually really nice since you don't deal with crowds as bad.  The kids loved it, well more so Kaden and Annabelle than Catlin.  They even got into the water, which was cold but they had fun.

Jay took the little one down to the water at one point and she did not like that water at all.  She cried and refused to be put down after that.  She did love playing in the sand with Jay.  It was a bit windy and chilly for it being Memorial Day, but the family still had fun.
