My Girl's day out

Last weekend I got my very first girl's day out with a good friend of mine, Robyn.  We decided to go get our hair done and leave the spouses to watch the kids.  Both of our husbands are on the same ship and are also good friends so we tend to get together often and have a lot of fun doing so.  It was a blast.  We had so much fun and it was a very needed thing for both of us.  When we got back to the house, they came to our place, we found both husbands asleep and the kids playing video games and wandering the house.  Luckily Jay was some what awake and the camera fully woke him.  Boy did he get a surprise from me.  I went from having long hair to this:

This is what I look like now.  I did dark high lights and layers in it.  I honestly love my new look and so does Jay.  It has been so much nicer to not have the migraines, that I was getting from my hair being too long, and not too bad on the maintence. 

Good thing too since tomorrow I'll be out of commission for most of the day.  Dental appointments after 4 years of not having them are never a good thing.  Kaden and I both had one today and sadly I have to get my very first crown and go back every 3 months due to some gum problems that have steadily gotten worse over time.  Luckily the dentist we have is awsome and Kaden did so great with them.  He didn't like the x-ray stuff so we'll be doing that next time, but he was such a trooper for Jay.  He got his teeth cleaned without any fights or tantrums. 

Something different

So not much has been going on here.  Jay's been gone, home, gone again, then home again.  We've really not had much beyond that happen.  So I haven't really had anything to blog about.  While Jay had been out I had a break down due to stress and so this week Jay will be home all week with us for some good family time.  So maybe there will be some pictures.  This last weekend I got my very first girl's day out and it was a blast.  I got my hair done and was out of the house without the kids.  And my hair looks fabulous!  Sorry, I'm not going to be posting a picture here for a while.  I'm kind of waiting for the shock affect that is coming to happen first.  Other than that, nothing has been happening. 
Well I've been once again yelling at the tv.  Jay gets a kick out of me doing so, but he also knows why I get so angry with all the crap that is happening to this country.  Luckily I found a way for me to voice it.  If you feel like I have about the garbage that is going on check out http://www.the912project.com/  It is an amazing site and gives a voice to those who feel like they don't have one.
