A must see movie
Last night Jay and I got our last date night for the next little while and went and saw "Star Trek". Usually we don't go opening weekends to movies, but both of us really wanted to see this one so we did. The movie was fabulous! Since I grew up watching the original Star Trek tv show and original movies I went in wondering if Iwould love it or hate it. I loved it! I highly recommend this movie to anyone. It was so enjoyable and even had humor in it. Of course most of the humor came from comments made during the tv show and so that made it all that more fitting. This is one movie that is at the top of our MUST OWN list.

Grandma's Visit
My mom came out for a visit this past week and boy did the kids have fun with Grandma. They got to blow bubbles and have loads of fun. Kaden and Annabelle just loved having her here for the last few days.

More Zoo
Yeah we have a lot of pictures from the day at the zoo.
Kaden loves the monkeys.
Our little trooper! She didn't want her stroller at all. She wanted to walk like everyone else and for most of our visit she did just that. She was so facinated by everything she saw. She did fabulous with walking all on her own!
Of course going to the zoo means we go see the pandas. This one was so funny. Kaden loved seeing them.

Growing up
Annabelle is growing up on us. A few weeks ago she decided she was done with her high chair and so she started to eat at the table with us. I caught her doing this on a daily basis and she was throwing food off her tray so we knew it was time to get her a boster seat for the table.

And she also is now in a big girl bed. This is Kaden's old bed (the top bunk to the bunk bed set we bought when Kaden needed a big boy bed). Since Kaden sleeps without the bars on his she got the one with the bars on it. Notice her hair is in her face, yeah that brings us to the third change we have been through with her.......
Her first official haircut! We had no choice. She needed to be able to see so badly that we went and got it cut. They even gave her layers! My little girl is all grown up. She looks super cute with the layers and not only that but no food gets in it anymore and she can see once again!
Jared's Wedding
On April 24th Jay's baby brother, Jared, got married. The wedding was up in L.A. so we were able to attend the ceremony and all. The wedding was beautiful. The weather was cold. Here are some of pics we took with our camera from that fabulous day.
Jared and my new sister in law Raelene.
The Teerlink Family: (left to right) Carlos, Gaving, Julie, Taylor, Craig (my FIL), Raelene, Jared, Liz (MIL), Bentley, Jessica, Justin, Jay, Kaden, Me and Annabelle. This was taken outside of the LA Temple right after they got married.

Jay with Annabelle
The only downsides for us was Kaden had a few autistic meltdowns over that day and that night Annabelle fell out of bed and bit her lip, bad. The funniest thing was watching Gavin and Taylor start to wrestle right in the middle of the reception. We Teerlink's all cheered them on while the photographer took some pictures. Sadly Jared and Raelene's honeymoon to mexico was slightly canceled due to the swine flu so they ended up here in San Diego for a day as part of their cruise. Kaden and Annabelle got to visit with them and now Kaden can't stop asking for Uncle Jared and Aunt Rae (Raelene told him to call her that). Even Annabelle who never goes to anyone readily (and I mean anyone) went to them the moment they came into the house. My kids wouldn't leave them be the entire time they were here visiting with us. It was good to see them and visit with them, even though it was their honeymoon. So Congrats to Jared and Raelene!
Wedding Continued
Here are some more pics from the wedding.
Small Update
So much has happened to us over the last 2 weeks and I've just not had the time to update it all. So sometime this week I'll atemt a massive update, but for now we're just very focused on finishing up with Kaden's IEP testing with the school since we're in the final phases of that this week. So far all good news on that end.....
