Day at the beach

On my mom's final day here we went to the beach for the afternoon.  The kids had so much fun.  Our good friends the Hyde family joined us there and all of us just really had a nice after noon.  We went to the Navy's private beach and it was right next to the air strip for the Navy jets.  We watched them take off and land right behind us for a part of the afternoon.  It was really neat.  Kaden was a little scared of the water, it was cold this time, but he just loved running on the beach and spending time with my mom.

The waves were incredible.  The clouds are actually the marine layer making their way back on shore.
