Fires and our little Annabelle

Wow we have had a busy few days! Our little Annabelle has improved so much in such a short time. This morning we went to see her and feed her and were told she would be taken off the O2 only. Well this afternoon when we came to feed her again no only was she off the O2 but the bellylights for her jaundice as well! She looks so much better and is eating more and if all goes well we will be brining her home tomorrow. She had to do a car seat test today and passed with flying colors. She is just like Kaden was at that age. She fell asleep and stayed that way during the entire test. We had to wear these yellow protective gowns today for the first time. Due to the massive amounts of fires, there are currently 9 active fires in San Diego county, they took an extra precaution and had us wear the gowns to keep her and the other little NICU patients.

The fires are all around us. The smoke is just awful. We are some of the lucky ones that are not under any evactuations. But the veiw from our place of just one fire is incredible.
